Watergate, Bob Woodward and Omerta

On Sunday, July 31st I take a critical look at the unmasking of "Deep Throat."

My OpEd on this subject, approximately 1,200 words, will be published in the Commentary section of the Times of Trenton, a Newhouse newspaper.

I'm hoping to spark a serious discussion about confidential sourcing and journalism ethics by focusing on a circumstance that amazingly has escaped the media by "hiding in plain sight."

The subject is germane. The CIA leak investigation continues and a reporter sits in jail for refusing to testify before a grand jury.
